01 What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website places on your device when you visit it. Cookies let a site recognise your device, remember your actions and preferences, and work as intended. They are widely used to make websites function, to make them work more efficiently, and to provide information to the site's owners.
In this Policy we use the word "cookies" to cover cookies and other similar technologies that store or read information on your device, including pixels and web beacons, local storage, and software development kits (SDKs). Cookies may be set by us (first-party cookies) or by a third party whose service we use, such as an analytics provider (third-party cookies). They may last only for your visit (session cookies) or remain until they expire or you delete them (persistent cookies).

Today we use only one kind of cookie: strictly necessary cookies. We do not use functional, analytics or marketing cookies on outcome1.ai. If that changes, we will update this Policy and ask for your consent before setting any non-essential cookie.
1 Strictly necessary
These cookies are essential for the website to function. On our site they keep your session connected to the right server so pages load reliably. Because the site cannot operate properly without them, they cannot be switched off, and under the GDPR and Law no. 506/2004 they do not require your consent.
2 Functional, analytics and marketing
We do not currently use cookies in these categories. We run no analytics, advertising or social-media tracking on the website. Were we to introduce any, we would ask for your consent first and list them in the table below.

The tables below list the cookies we use, grouped by category, with their provider, purpose and how long each one lasts. Durations are typical values and may vary slightly.

These are first-party, session-only cookies that are strictly necessary for the website to function, so they do not require consent. We do not use analytics, advertising or social-media cookies on outcome1.ai. If we add any non-essential cookies in future, we will update this Policy and ask for your consent before those cookies are set.

Because we use only strictly necessary cookies, which are exempt from consent under the GDPR and Law no. 506/2004, we do not show a cookie consent banner and there is nothing for you to accept or reject. These cookies are set automatically because the site needs them to work, and they last only for your browsing session.
If we ever introduce non-essential cookies (for example analytics or marketing), we will add a consent banner that lets you accept all, reject all, or choose by category, with rejecting as easy as accepting, and we will not set those cookies until you choose. You can always control cookies through your browser, as described in the next section.

Besides our cookie settings, you can control cookies through your browser. Most browsers let you see what cookies are stored, delete them, and block some or all of them. The help pages below explain how:
You can also limit specific analytics or advertising cookies using tools the providers offer, such as the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. On mobile devices, your operating system settings let you reset or limit advertising identifiers.
Please note that if you block strictly necessary cookies, parts of the website may not work properly.

Some browsers can send a "Do Not Track" signal. There is no common industry standard for how websites should respond to it, so our website does not currently respond to Do Not Track signals. We rely instead on the clear, category-level choices you make through our cookie banner and settings. If a recognised browser-level preference signal becomes a legal standard, we will update our approach accordingly.

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time, for example if we start or stop using particular cookies, or to reflect changes in the law. When we do, we will post the updated version here and change the "last updated" date at the top. Where the law requires it, we will ask for your consent again before setting any new non-essential cookies.
